Margaret Page
Mrs. Margaret West Page, 84, of Sterling House, died
Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Crawley Memorial Hospital. Born in Moore, S.C., she
was a daughter of the late Sumter West and Maggie Tolison West. She retired from
3M Company after 30 years in photo finishing. She was a member of First Baptist
Church of Spartanburg. She was a former teacher in the children's department at
First Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her
loving family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
sisters, Pauline Conwell, Mary Cox and Edna Horton; and brother, Vernon West.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Henry D. Page of Kings
Mountain; sons, Dr. Carroll Page and wife, Linda, of Boiling Springs and Kenneth
Page of Greenville, S.C.; brothers, Frank West and wife, Nan, of Memphis, Tenn.,
and Sumter West of Marion; and grandchildren, Kathleen Dimitru, Adam Page,
Andrew Page and Aaron Page. The family will be at the Hamrick-Goode House in
Boiling Springs.
Funeral: Thursday, July 2, 7 p.m., Boiling Springs Baptist Church Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour before the service, at Boiling Springs Baptist Church Life Enrichment Center.
