Tom Hunt
Mr. Thomas "Tom" Gordon Hunt, 64, of 3733 Harris Creek Road,
died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Fort Wayne, Ind., a son of the late Robert Francis Hunt and
Martha Edith Scheer Hunt. Tom served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was
employed with Buckeye Fire Equipment as a quality assurance manager. He was a
member of Lawndale United Methodist Church, where he served as a Sunday school
teacher. Tom enjoyed camping and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Hunt of the home; son, Steven Thomas Hunt
of Huntington, Ind.; daughter, Leslie Ann Gardner and husband, David, of Shelby;
brothers, Robert Steven Hunt and wife, Mary, of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Daniel
Craig Hunt of Texas; and grandchild, Jacob Alan Gardner.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
