Mrs. Sarah Ann Dunn King, 83, of 2541 Taylor Road; Apt. 4-A, Shelby, died June 12, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born in Bessemer, AL and worked as a secretary. She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Eugene and Fannie Whatley Dunn; husband Herbert Lee King; sisters Dot Cofer and Louise Cannon. She is survived by sons Herbert Lee Kings, Jr. and wife, Phyllis, of Island Park, Idaho, Larry King and wife, Linda, of Shelby and Stephen Lyle King and wife, Sharon, of Palm Bay, FL; sister Reba Bowling of Port Neches, TX; grandchildren Kristine King of Long Beach, CA, Jennifer Melton and husband, Jeff, of Shelby, Laura Hayes and husband, Chris, of Shelby, Erin McCraw of Palmyra, VA, Shelley Paris and husband, Tim, of Mt. Vernon, IN, Stephen Lyle King Jr. and wife Mary Beth, Palm Bay; great-grandchildren Emma Melton, Shelby, Mackenzie and Ethan Hayes, Shelby, Troy and Walker Paris, Mt. Vernon, IN, Evan Brit-ton, Justin Lyle King and Abigail Lynn King, Palm Bay, Fl. Memorial service: Monday, June 15, at 11 a.m., at Elizabeth Baptist Church and Saturday, June 20, at First Baptist Church in Marritt Island, FL.
