Kay Ellis

Ms. Kay Spinks Radloff- Ellis, 68 of 112 Featherway Lane, passed away at home on Monday, November 23, 2009.  She was born on  January 11, 194l, in England to Mr. & Mrs. Spinks.  She was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and was as longtime Rotarian. Kay had previously worked as a bookkeeper.  She enjoyed stained glasswork, stamp collecting and spending time with family and friends.       In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband:  John Matthews, daughter: Beverly Jane Matthews, and son: Dale Johnny Matthews      Kay is survived by her son: Shaun Radloff of Shelby. Her brothers:  Michael Spinks of England, Malcolm Spinks, of Centennial, Colorado and David Spinks of England and her sister Joan of England.  Her loving granddaughter:  Vennessa Beebe of Shelby.    

An Irish Wake will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 6:30-8:30 pm  in the Parish Hall of Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. 

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 6:00 pm at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer with the Rev .Valori Sherer,  reception following. 

Committal Service on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Episcopal church of the Redeemer.
