Mozelle Ingle
Ms.
Mozelle Biggerstaff Ingle, 90 of Wedgewood St., passed away on November 12, 2009
at home. She was born on January 2, 1919 in Gaston County to the late Edgar
Harold and Georgena Biggerstaff. She graduated from Tryon High School in
1936, attended Bob Bale Institute in 1951 and continued her education at Howard
Business College. She retired from First National Bank; she worked there from
1959 to 1984. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shelby, the
Professional Women’s Club and was the club’s secretary for many years. She
enjoyed visiting with friends and family. In addition to her parents, she is
preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Garland Daniel Ingle, brothers:
Rev. W. P. Biggerstaff, Raymond W. Biggerstaff, and David Ralph Biggerstaff,
Sisters: May Barbee, Ethel Bell and Beuna Biggerstaff. She is survived by
sons: Gordon Ingle and wife Wanda of Greenville, S.C., and Doug Ingle and wife
Johnnie of Cherryville, sister: Fayebelle Deck of Bessemer City, and her
grandchildren: Kristina Anderson, Tammy Schoening, Lacey Ingle and Cline Ingle
and great grandchildren: Ashton, Lauren and Hannah Schoening.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 4:00 pm in Webb Chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Tench and Dr. Rit Varriale.
Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 pm in the Ladies Parlor of First Baptist Church.
The family will be at the home 102 Wedgewood Street, Shelby.
