Faye P. Hudson

 

 

Mrs. Faye Joyce Patterson Hudson, 77, of Shelby, died on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Fennel and Mattie B. Patterson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Hudson, Sr.; by a sister, Lucille Heffner; and by a brother, Ben Patterson.  Mrs. Hudson was a charter member of Putnam Memorial Baptist Church.  She loved going to the beach and loved fishing, but most importantly, she  loved caring for her family.

Grandchildren:               Chad Wilson of Hendersonville, NC

                                    Michael Wilson and girlfriend Leah Knowles of Gastonia, NC

                                    Stephanie Hudson of Shelby, NC

                                    Billy Hudson, III and fiancée Tiffany Tessneer of Shelby

The family will receive friends at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday, September 28, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Hudson will be held at Putnam Memorial Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. Bryan Glisson and the Rev. Gary Marburger officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral at Cleveland Memorial Park in Shelby.
