LillianFrances McSwain Lee, 95, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 at home --
3423 Old Lincolnton Road. She was born in Cleveland County on June 14,
1914 to the late D. Grover and Vessie Petty McSwain.
Lillian was a homemaker, who enjoyed her flower garden, reading books, playing checkers, working puzzles, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her late husband Howard C. Lee, her son Howard Steven Lee, and brother Clifford McSwain.
She is survived by her children: Edwin Lee(son) and wife Sherry of Casar, Pheobe Price(daughter) and husband J. P. of Hildebran, Linda McCraw(daughter) and husband Herman of Polkville and Frances Lee(daughter) of Polkville, brother, Paul McSwain(brother) and wife Irene of Cherryville. Grandchildren: Mike and Carla Price, Chris McCraw, Robin and Paul Ebersold, Todd and Tosha Lee, Aaron Lee, Amy and Bryan Wilson. Great-grandchildren: Amanda Pickett, Alan Price, Alison Price, Tyler McCraw, Tyler Ebersold, Suzanne Ebersold, Jack Ebersold and Avery Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 17, 2009 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Sandy Plains Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Garin Hill officiating.
The family will be at the home of daughter Linda and Herman McCraw, 3235 W. Stagecoach Trail Polkville, NC
