Rev. Robert  “Bob” Land, 74, entered the Church Triumphant  Wednesday, October  12, 2011. He was born June 20, 1937 in Buffalo, NY. 

He had strength in his faith and in God, who created all to be good which allowed him to live fully for 74 years. He devoted his life to serving God in many different ways and in many different places. His devotion shined through his love of Music, Theatre Arts, Culinary Arts, and always having room in his heart for anyone in need.  He served by leading congregations, working with refugee resettlement and  teaching at Luther High School (Orlando, FL). He lived and died belonging to the Lord.   He graduated from Lenoir- Rhyne College and Lutheran Southern Seminary.

Loved ones left to cherish his memory include; daughter, Katherine Land Morefield, husband Mark and two grandchildren Morgan and Taylor of Mooresville.

Daughter, Allison Land Gragg, husband Bryon, and two grandchildren, Easton and Miles Gragg of Shelby, NC.
