Patricia Boinest
 

Patricia Johnson Boinest, 83, passed away peacefully in the loving care of Hospice Cleveland County, on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011.

A native of  Butler County, Penn., she was the daughter, of the late Henry B. and Edna Walker Johnson. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, M. Lebby Boinest Jr., a brother, John Johnson, a sister Siggrid Johnson, and a daughter-in-law, Sherry Holt Boinest. Mrs. Boinest was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was always ready to volunteer to help her community and church. Knitting, needle point, painting, crafting, and gardening were her many hobbies. She was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Halifax Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Boinest is survived by her sons, M. L. “Trip” Boinest, III of Shelby, N.C. and Henry W. Boinest and wife, Nancy of Richmond, Va.; grandchildren, Jordan Patricia Boinest, Lydia C. Boinest, and Joe S. McCraw; sister-in-law, Helen Johnson of Butler, Pa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: The family will receive friends immediately following the burial there will be a gathering of friends in the church fellowship hall

Celebration of Life Service: 1 p.m. Sunday at All Saints Episcopal Church in Roanoke Rapids
