Ray Lee Justice, 80, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital..  A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Loye (Law) and Rosie Lee Justice.  Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Melvin (Bud) Justice.  He worked at Cleveland Regional Medical Center for 39 years in the maintenance department.  Mr. Justice was an active member and deacon of Oak Grove Baptist Church.  He was also an active and charter member of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department for twenty years who will serve as his honorary pall bearers.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 – 1954.  He also volunteered for 20 years at the Patrick Senior Center in Kings Mountain distributing commodities.  Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather.

Mr. Justice is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ina Mozelle Justice; three daughters, Dianne Justice of Shelby, Wanda Justice of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Christa McGinnis Redfoot and husband Richard of Cliffside; a son, David Ray Justice and wife Rebecca of Kings Mountain; a uncle, Gene McEntire and wife Beaula of Charlotte NC; siblings, Rachel Reynolds and Max Justice of Kings Mountain and Annette Dyer of Shelby; grandchildren, Debbie Fisher and husband Shane, Ed King and wife Angel, Garvis Joe Ross III (Styx) and wife Jenna, Keith Ross, Chad Martin, Colt McGinnis, Chad Blanton, Trevor Blanton, Dylan Justice, Brittany Justice, Jonathan Morehead and wife Linda; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Oak Grove Baptist Church.  The Rev. Travis Northcutt and Rev. Ron Caulder will be officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory.  At other times the family will be at the home.
